Historic Himelhoch was originally designed in 1901 for office and retail use. The Himelhoch Brothers leased the building from 1923 - 1977 for their upscale women's department store. In the store's early days, you could see Detroit's first automobiles angle parked along the elegant and classically designed Washington Boulevard. In 1980 the building was renovated to create spacious apartment homes. Here you will enjoy the charm of apartment homes with the vintage character.
