Governor Bryant Celebrates Opening Of New Health Care Zone Housing Community In Holly Springs
Holly Springs Mayor Kelvin Buck welcomed honored guest Governor Phil Bryant at the Grand Opening of Church Court townhomes, Wednesday April 22.
Funded in part with Low Income Housing Tax Credits in cooperation with the Mississippi Home Corporation, Church Court is the latest growth resulting from Governor Bryant's Health Care Zone Initiative. The Initiative uses medical facilities and related industry to promote growth and it has reaped numerous benefits for communities throughout the state.
Each three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath townhome features granite countertops, a fully-equipped kitchen with designer fixtures, a washer and dryer and an attached two-car garage. Church Court was built with energy-saving features including gas tankless water heaters and Energy Star appliances and, as a result, the entire community achieved a Bronze green rating.
“Holly Springs has seen great growth over the last few years, and Church Court exemplifies what our community has to offer. The homes at Church Court are of the highest quality, and the developers have proven their commitment to serving our community,” said Mayor Buck. “We pride ourselves on working with private partners to help grow our vibrant town.”
Located not far from Memphis, TN and yet with a small town ambiance, Church Court also has a community clubhouse and a business center. A variety of adult-education classes are available free of charge to residents.
The new development is owned by Church Court East LP and Church Court West LP and was developed by Rosedale Corporation of Oxford, MS. The contractor was Winters Construction, LLC also of Oxford.
FOURMIDABLE, based in Bingham Farms, MI is the management agent, as they are for nine other affordable multi-family communities in Mississippi. “We are delighted to add Church Court to our management portfolio and look forward to exceeding the expectations of both our residents and ownership partners,” said Scott Allen, president of FOURMIDABLE.
