FOURMIDABLE Director of Affordable Housing Sabrina Bollinger Named Diversity Business Leader in Corp! Magazine's 2018 Salute to Diversity
Sabrina Bollinger, Director of Affordable Housing at FOURMIDABLE, was recently named an overall winner in the category of “Diversity Business Leader” by Corp! magazine as part of its 2018 Salute to Diversity Awards. The honor is bestowed to “an individual who is a diversity role model or top officer of a minority-owned business.”
Bollinger was cited for her impressive track record as a proven leader in managing affordable housing as part of the FOURMIDABLE team since 1995.
Commenting on the distinction FOURMIDABLE Chief Executive Officer Jeri Hays said, “Sabrina has the clear ability to support and empower the performance of others as a committed professional who constantly pursues ways to improve relationships with our diverse resident population. We are very proud of her selection by Corp! as a diversity leader.”
For more than 10 years, Corp! magazine has been celebrating companies, organizations and business leaders who have made diversity and multiculturalism a cornerstone of their business strategy. The publication honored those companies, organizations and leaders at a Salute to Diversity Awards event held at the International Banquet Center in Detroit, Sept. 14.
Among her many distinctions, Bollinger is past President and current Secretary of Westland Housing Commission and on the Board of Directors for Westland Taylor Corporation. She also works directly with the Lincoln Park Housing Commission, New Haven Housing Commission, Detroit Housing Commission, Sterling Heights Housing Commission, Lincoln Park Non-Profit, Niles Housing Commission, Royal Oak Township Housing Commission, Romulus Housing Commission and Pontiac Housing Commission. Bollinger is also Chair on the Institute of Real Estate Management's National Diversity Advisory Board, Institute of Real Estate Management Chapter 5 Board of Directors and the Past President for the Institute of Real Estate Management Chapter 5.
Corp! magazine named winners were selected in three categories:
- Diversity Focused Company
- Diversity Business Leader
- Diversity Champion
Honorees were selected based on a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion, and contributions to diversity issues in business and the community. Corp! not only considered race and ethnicity, but also gender, religion and handicapping conditions as worthy of recognition.
