Ted Stanko

Ted joined FOURMIDABLE in November 2022 as a Compliance Specialist II.  His responsibilities include; reviewing interim, annual and move in files to ensure program compliance.  He also submits tenant events to state housing agencies for LIHTC properties and helps develop processes and procedures for the compliance department.
 
Ted started his career in Property Management as a summer maintenance technician in 2002 and was promoted to Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor of a small Rural Development property after 4 months.  This position taught him a lot about both property management and affordable housing.  The property came with challenges, but after devotion and learning the verification process, is where his love of compliance began.
After managing the property for seven and a half years, Ted took his first compliance position in Chicago, IL where he learned about Section 8 and Tax Credit housing.  He completed compliance reviews for properties in several states including Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, New Jersey, Minnesota and Pennsylvania.
 
Ted enjoys teaching new staff about compliance as well as providing tips to experienced site staff.
